AOT and IDB score comfortable wins in MoneyGram cricket

JEDDAH — AOT and IDB scored comfortable wins in their MoneyGram CKB Premier Tournament matches here recently.
Hala Friends could score only 114 with Ozar unbeaten on 32. Faisal Iqbal took 3-22, Qaiser 3-25 and Zeeshan 3-18. AOT achieved the target of 117 for the loss of 3 wickets. Hashm hit 28, Aqeel 30. Khalid Iqbal took 2-19.
In another match, Islamic Development Bank (IDB) racked up 178-4 against Al-Ghamdi Cricket Stars. Mohammed Farook slammed 56, Khalid Butt 28, Yassir 37 and Adeel 20. Naveed took 2-23, Wajid 1-33 and Waleed 1-41. Al-Ghamdi fell short by 6 runs as Faisal hit 52 and Asim 45. Mohammed Farook took 3-32 and Babar 2-23.
Afternoon Tournament
Elaf Advance, AMI Juffali, Hala International School and Contraco emerged winners in the MoneyGram CKB T20 Afternoon Tournament.

Elaf Advance piled up 162-4 against AOT Youngsters. Omer Shahid hit 55, Azeem 50 and Ashraf 22. Atif took 2-26. AOT Youngsters was restricted to 147 as they lost the encounter by 15 runs. Nadeem hit 64 and Mudassir 27. Hasnain and Ahmed took 2 wickets each.
AMI Juffali scored 161 for 7 with Imran hammering 71 in 46 balls and Shaboor 41. Imran and Fazan claimed 2 wickets each. Arab Lankan could manage only 136 in reply to lose by 25 runs. Mushtaq hit 35, Roshan 26 and Irshad 21. Shuboor bagged 3-33, Najam Uzbak 3-32 and Moiz 2.
Choudhry-XI scored 144 against Hala School. Zahoor hit 65 and Majid 28. Sami took 2-26. Hala achieved the target of 148 for the loss of 3 wickets in 90 balls as Hamid hit 38, Atif 33, Saud 36 and Pareez 25.
Morning Tournament
My Care Hala Green racked up 179-2 against ADI-XI. Sadiq remained unbeaten on 94 off 52 balls (6 fours and 5 sixes) as he first added 80 runs with Irfan (40) and then 99 runs with Rahil (34). ADI-XI could manage only 115-7 to lose by 64 runs. Talha scored 48 as Umar added 33.
DTT posted 149-5 against Johnson Control. Aqeel hit 30, Hammad 28, Ahsan Kamal 23 and Emad 30. Ahmed Khan took 3-31. Johnson Control responded with 152-2 in 83 balls. Khubab smashed 6 fours and 5 sixes to compile 75 not out. Saeed Qayyum (32) and Farrukh Shahbaz (23) were the other scorers.

Jeddah Challengers plundered 177-3 against MQ Group. Rizwan Khan blasted 61, Abdulaziz 25, Abubaker 29 and Taher 34. MQ Group, in reply, was bowled out for 117. Usman stroked 33 and Akber 21. Tahir took 3-17, while Afzal and Rafique claimed 2 wickets each.
ATS put on 140-7 against Stallions. Zaman hit 50 in 30 balls, Lateef 28 and Ayaz Jafri 22. Hisham and Jawad picked 2 wickets each. Stallions reached 144 for the loss of 6 wickets. Salman hit 23, Hassan 31 and Usman 37. Tayyab scalped 3-29.

OTEX piled up 162-7 against Haneefa Tigers. Irfan Choudhry smashed 70 in 45 balls, while Talib Hussain scored 24. Ammar took 3-23. Haneefa Tigers crumbled for 110-9 with Sarfaraz stroking 28, Farhan 21 and Sameer 25. Asif scalped 3-16 and Aijaz 3-17.
Sadafco posted 173-7 against Brasa De Brazil. Zuber hit 78 in 42 balls, while Tauseef added 26. Farid Afridi grabbed 3-18 and Tariq Butt 2-20.
Brasa De Brazil reached 179 for the loss of 6 wickets. Faiz Rasool blasted 11 fours and 4 sixes to remain unbeaten on 105 off 45 balls. He added 104 runs with Farid Afridi (51). Wasiullah took 2-31.
In the last encounter, Al-Mazroi-XI plundered 170-4 against Jeddah Royals as Faisal scored 56, Mohsin 32, Badar 21 and Asif remained unbeaten on 26. Nanaji took 2-24. Jeddah Royals, in reply, was bundled out for 55 to lose by 115 runs. Shoukat claimed the first hat trick with figures of 3-8, while Mubeen took 4-10 and Faisal 2-21.
