Heater explosion scalds girl, kills father

RIYADH — A heater exploded in a residential apartment in Riyadh, severely scalding a 10-year-old girl. Red Crescent spokesman Mazen Al-Ghamdi said the explosion also resulted in the death of the girl's father and injured five other members of the family. Three of the injured suffered third degree burns while the injuries of the other two were mild.
