Al-KHARJ — A cooking gas cylinder explosion injured 16 people who were on a trip to Wethailan Park. Riyadh Civil Defense spokesman Capt. Mohammad Al-Hammadi said the explosion resulted in medium to serious injuries and burns to the victims, all of who were transported to various hospitals in the area. The head of King Khalid Hospital said the hospital received nine cases. Three of the injured sustained severe burns to different parts of their bodies, while the others sustained medium to mild injuries.
