RIYADH – The Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution (BIP) investigated 24,687 cases involving abuse of public funds last year, a rise of 47 percent compared to the previous year. Riyadh led with 31,540 cases involving 37,918 defendants while Al-Baha came last 1,531 cases involving 1,935 defendants.
