TABUK — Tabuk Police arrested a gang of four men of African origin in connection with a number of robberies targeting bank customers in the city. According to police, the thieves would monitor clients exiting the bank before making their move to rob them. Police arrested the suspects after two of them allegedly tried to steal SR150,000 from the car of a man outside a bank. Police said the victim had parked his car near the fruit market where the thieves broke into the car to steal the money before officers moved in and arrested them. Police found SR15,000 cash in their possession. Officers arrested the rest of the suspects at their residence. Police are still investigating.
