RANIYA — A four-year-old died Friday after she fell in a manhole while she was playing near her house, according to Raniya Civil Defense director Lt. Col. Muhammad Al-Sharif. Divers were dispatched to the scene immediately after the incident was reported. They were able to pull the child out of the manhole and provided her with first aid. However, she died on the way to hospital as a result of exposure to the toxic fluids.
