Public universities enroll 270,000 students

JEDDAH — The Ministry of Higher Education has said 276,459 male and female students have been enrolled in public universities in the Kingdom for the coming academic year.
There are still 102,704 vacant seats, of which 60,293 are for male students and 42,411 for females, the ministry said.
The percentage of admission until Shawwal was 73, according to the recent statistics issued by the Ministry of Higher Education.
