JUBAIL – Civil Defense firefighters in Jubail put out a fire that broke out in a truck whose tire exploded Thursday morning on the Jubail-Dammam expressway. Road security and undercover traffic policemen arrived at the scene. Civil Defense firemen controlled the fire and prevented it from spreading to the whole vehicle. The driver of the vehicle said he heard the tire explode and during his attempt to stop the vehicle on the roadside, a fire broke out. He said he telephoned the Civil Defense, Al-Yaum Arabic daily reported Friday.
