Iraqi police say a dozen fire trucks and other equipment have been brought in to fight a large fire in eastern Baghdad, the Associated Press reported. Police say the blaze broke out early Monday morning after a roadside bomb exploded next to a U.S. military convoy. An officer said the blast damaged an armored Humvee. It also set fire to nearby shops and spread to other stalls in a large marketplace. More than a dozen U.S. and Iraqi firefighting vehicles rushed to the scene to put out the blaze.
