As many as 25 fire brigades battled for long hours to put out a blaze that broke out in a container warehouse near Jeddah Islamic Seaport at noon on Monday. The fire, which spread over an area of about 2,000 square meters, did not cause any injuries. Civil Defense spokesman Col. Saeed Sarhan said the cause of the fire was being investigated.
