JEDDAH — Police in Jeddah are investigating the body of a man that was found hanging from the top of a truck in southern Jeddah. A team has been formed to investigate the case. A Saudi national had noticed the lower part of the man's body. The upper part was hidden under the head of the truck, which was parked at Kilo 8. The citizen reported this to police who arrived within minutes and cordoned off the area around the truck and started searching for clues and evidence. The police team took the help of forensics experts, who started their task by lifting fingerprints while forensic doctors examined the body to determine the cause and time of death. It appeared that the upper part of the body was wedged below the truck head, which was lifted. Preliminary investigations suggested several causes. It could be due to a crime or an accident in which the man lifted the truck cab to repair something but it fell on him. If it was a crime, then somebody must have put his head below the truck head. But this has not been confirmed yet.
