Nadia Al-Fawwaz Saudi Gazette ABHA — Civil Defense teams in Al-Majaridah dealt with an accident where a trailer truck driver got trapped in the vehicle on the Al-Majaridah-Tharban road. Rescue, firefighting and ambulance teams rushed to the scene 20 km away from downtown Al-Majaridah, deputy spokesman for Asir Civil Defense Lt. Col. Mueedh Al-Shehri confirmed on Saturday morning. A trailer truck belonging to the Almarai dairy company carrying milk overturned, causing the Indian driver to get trapped inside the cabin. The Civil Defense teams managed to rescue the driver with great difficulty. The driver sustained a compound fracture in his left arm and was handed over to the Red Crescent that rushed him to Al-Majaridah General Hospital. Several authorities attended the accident, including the police, Red Crescent and the Traffic Department, to which the matter was handed over as it comes under its jurisdiction.t
