JAZAN – A man died while a mother and her son were left trapped in their car during a traffic accident in Jazan. The man lost control over his car and hit another carrying the mother and son. Civil Defense rescue teams rushed to the scene to remove the man and the mother and her son from the wreckage. A traffic officer blamed recklessness for the accident. Meanwhile in Asir, a young man died when a truck driver who was under the influence of alcohol slammed into his vehicle near Bariq governorate. Asir Red Crescent Authority spokesman said the driver sustained moderate injuries and was taken to hospital while the young man's body was transferred to the local morgue.
