ABHA — A man died after the vehicle he was driving swerved off the road down a steep cliff of Raidah Hill, said Asir Civil Defense spokesman Lt. Col. Ma'eidh Al-Shehri. The vehicle, which was carrying three people in total, fell 70 meters. One passenger was thrown from the vehicle during its fall. The crowd that had gathered managed to remove the second passenger from the car but the driver remained trapped. The Civil Defense conducted a delicate rescue operation to rescue the driver without disturbing the vehicle's balance on the rocks. They succeeded and were able to move him up the hill. He was then examined by the Red Crescent, who found he had died as a result of his injuries.
