Saudi detained for impersonating police

MAKKAH — The police here have detained a Saudi for allegedly collecting money from several drivers by impersonating a police officer. The Saudi would allegedly stop cars and ask for a ride, and then threaten the drivers before absconding with their money. Makkah Police spokesman Lt. Col. Abdulmohsen Al-Maiman said that police were able to apprehend the offender after several leads.
