JEDDAH – A Royal Court statement announced here on Monday that the blessed month of Ramadan will begin on Wednesday (July 10). The Supreme Court did not receive any reports on the sighting of the new crescent. The Supreme Court extended greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, the Second Deputy Premier, the government and the people of Saudi Arabia, Muslim expatriates in Saudi Arabia and all Muslim nations, wishing them easy fasting and forgiveness. The UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Malaysia, Australia and Singapore also announced that Ramadan will begin on Wednesday.– SPA
