The Royal Court announced today it has been informed by the Supreme Court that Wednesday will be the first day of Ramadan 1434 H. In a statement, the Royal Court said the Supreme Court, meeting this evening in Taif to determine whether Ramadan this year falls tomorrow or after tomorrow, announced that nobody have reported having seen the moon of the new lunar month this evening, so it was decided to consider Tuesday, tomorrow, as the complementary day of the current month of Shaaban and that Wednesday will be the first day of Ramadan 1434 H. The Supreme Court extended congratulations on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his Crown Prince, the Second Deputy Premier, the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Muslim expatriates in Saudi Arabia and all Muslim nation, wishing them easy fasting and forgiveness. The meeting of the Supreme Court was headed by Ghayhab bin Mohammed Al-Ghayhab, chairman of the panel and attended by the following members: Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Hussein, Dr. Adbul-Ilah bin Abdulaziz Al Firayan, Sulaiman bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, Ahemd bin Hamad Al-Mazroua, Mohammed bin Shuraim Al-Shaabi, Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Qasem, Ahmed bin Maqbool Hakami, Saad bin Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, and Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Majli Al-Sibaie.
