Mishal Al-Otaibi Saudi Gazette RIYADH – Riyadh Mayoralty has shut down 127 restaurants and cafeterias as well as butcher shops during its surprise inspection visits to different neighborhoods of the city. Over 180 workers have been suspended from work because they did not have health certificates while some of them engaged in unhygienic practices. Also, 1,536 kg of rotten meat, fish, and poultry were seized while 424 rusty kitchen utensils were confiscated. Inspectors found insects and mice in some cafeterias.
