RIYADH — Pak Shaheen, Saudi Jaguars and Yusafzai CC emerged champions in their respective sections of the Alhamrani Fuchs T20 Cup, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) here recently. In Al-Kharj Zone, Pak Shaheen beat Lahore Lions by 59 runs. Batting first, Pak Shaheen scored 191 in 20 overs. Openers Abdul Waheed (56) and Wahid (43) played fluently, but Lahore Lions fought back with some quick wickets in the middle overs. Later, Man-of-the-Match Ishaq played an important knock of 32 and took his team's score to a formidable 191. Chasing the target, Lahore Lions were in trouble throughout as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Ishaq and Ateeq bowled excellently and took 3 wickets each. Wahab got 2, while Iftikhar and Ibrar took 1 each. In Huraymala Zone, Saudi Jaguars got the better of Attieh Steel by 6 wickets. Saudi Jaguars is the team that has Saudi players. Batting first, Attieh Steel scored 168, thanks to a fine knock of 125 by Sajid Cheema. For Jaguar, Faisal Sheikh bowled with great control and took 5 wickets. Shaukat also bowled well and chipped in with 2 key wickets. Jaguars achieved the target for the loss of only 4 wickets. Rao Kamran played a scintillating innings of 106. Faisal Sheikh was declared the Man-of-the-Match. In Riyadh Zone, Yusafzai CC defeated Majlis-e-Pakistan (MPCC) by 8 wickets. MPCC's batting collapsed against some tight bowling by Yusafzai. MPCC was all out for 132. Asif took 3 wickets, while Hameed grabbed 2. Yusafzai achieved the target as Asif remained unbeaten on 56 and Altaf scored 41. Asif was declared the Man-of-the-Mach for his all-round performance.
