MADINAH — A fire erupted in Madinah's Al-Ansar Golden Hotel, and 300 hotel guests had to be evacuated. Madinah Civil Defense spokesman, Col. Khalid Al-Jehani, said that fire fighting teams were rushed to the hotel which is located in the center of Madinah, near the Prophet Mosque. The guests were evacuated, and the fire was contained before it could spread to other parts of the hotel. The fire was caused by the emergency power generator, due to an overload. No injuries to the guests were reported, but two fire fighters were slightly injured. — SG
