BURAIDAH — A police car chase resulted in an accident to another car, killing a man and seriously injuring his family in Al-Safra neighborhood of Qassim. The head of traffic accidents in Qassim police, Col. Khalid Al-Dhebaib, said a police patrol was following a suspicious vehicle that had no license plates and tinted windows. Another vehicle carrying a family of three crossed in front of the car being chased, causing the accident and overturned, killing the man and seriously injuring his wife and daughter. Qassim police spokesman Maj. Ali Allahim said the police patrol was chasing the suspect vehicle after its driver refused calls to stop. Investigations are under way to determine if this chase was against regulations.
