ARAR — Police in Arar arrested a man who fired at them in the city's Al-Dhahyah neighborhood. Spokesman for the Northern Border police Col. Bandar Al-Aydaa said a patrol team spotted a suspicious car in the neighborhood. The driver was asked to stop but refused, hit the patrol car and fled. He was pursued in a high-speed chase and his car overturned. He exited the car and fired at the patrol vehicle. He was finally arrested and referred to Al-Faisaliyah police station. The man was found to have previous convictions. He was referred to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution.
