RIYADH — Police patrols in Riyadh arrested a gang carrying arms and drugs in a stolen car. A police patrol grew suspicious of a vehicle that had no front license plates, while its back license plates were partially covered. Police tried to stop the vehicle to investigate, however, it tried to flee but was stopped by the police. There were two occupants in the vehicle who were carrying large quantities of arms and ammunition. In addition, they were also carrying hashish and narcotic pills. The vehicle was found to be stolen and its license plates taken from another car. The suspects were arrested and the vehicle and its contents were confiscated pending further investigations.
