RIYADH — Al Nassr secured a valuable 1-0 victory over hosts Al Riyadh, thanks to a goal from Sadio Mane, in their Saudi Pro League Round 10 encounter. With the win, Al Nassr climbed back into third place in the standings, reclaiming the position from Al Shabab, who won their own match against Al Khaleej in the same round. The victory took Al Nassr's tally to 22 points, just one point ahead of Al Shabab, while they trail leaders Al Hilal by 6 points. Al Riyadh remained on the same points total as before the round, with 14 points. The match's only goal came in stoppage time of the first half, when Senegalese forward Sadio Mane capitalized on a perfect cross from Abdulrahman Ghareeb. Ghareeb dribbled into the box and delivered a precise ball that Mane converted expertly into the back of the net. Despite an early injury to Mohamed Konaté in the first 15 minutes, which led to a substitution by coach Sabri Lamouchi, Al Riyadh showed impressive technical form throughout the match. Mohamed Al-Aql replaced Konaté to continue the battle.
