Mouri, leader of Saudi Hankook Team, made a remarkable impact during his recent participation in the final round of the Radical World Championship held in Abu Dhabi, driving a Radical SR8 equipped with Hankook Ventus F200 tires. This came after 12-years of absence since his last participation in this championship, in which he had achieved victory. Saeed Al-Mouri's participation came upon receiving a special invitation to represent Saudi Arabia in the World Champions competition, where he secured fourth place in the Platinum class during the first race. In the final race, despite facing obstacles, Al-Mouri succeeded in advancing into the top ten, although a minor collision prevented him from securing second place in the Platinum class. Expressing his happiness, Al-Mouri said: "I did not expect to achieve this result and represent Saudi Arabia and the sponsors in the World Championship in such a remarkable way. However, there were several factors that prevented me from achieving victory, the most significant being the car's manufacturing year, which played a major role," he said and continued: "Still, this was a unique experience, and I was honored to represent Saudi Arabia with the highest result achieved by a Saudi or even a Gulf driver in this championship. The credit, after God, goes to the Bin-Shihon Group, the agent of Hankook Tires in Saudi Arabia, for their constant support," he added. It is noteworthy that this major achievement adds to Saeed Al-Mouri's record and opens new horizons for Saudi drivers' participation in this global championship. This accomplishment marks a significant step in the Saudi motorsport journey, proving that Saudi drivers possess the skills and capabilities to compete at the highest global levels. Al-Mouri praised the great support offered by Saudi sponsors to develop motor sports, which enhances Saudi Arabia's presence in international championships and opens the door for young talents to follow in his footsteps.
