DAMMAM — Al Qadsiah Club has announced the signing of 19-year-old Spanish talent Iker Almena from Girona, as part of the club's investment strategy under the ownership of Saudi Aramco. Iker expressed his gratitude to his former club in a post, thanking the management, staff, coaches, and teammates for the three years he spent developing his skills at Girona. He wished the team all the best in the future. Sources indicate that Al Qadsiah broke the player's contract, valued at €5 million, to secure his transfer. Al Qadsiah's investment strategy extends beyond Iker, as the club is also making serious moves to acquire Alex Vargas from Real Betis. The 18-year-old's transfer deal could reach up to €1 million. In addition, Al Qadsiah recently signed local talent Saif Rajab, who has made a significant impression with his performances. Saif's contract will run until 2029. It's also worth noting that Al Qadsiah recently agreed to loan their young player Carlos Jiménez to Villarreal just days after signing him to a contract that extends until 2029.
