MAKKAH — The Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah witnessed the congregation of thousands of Muslims to perform the Eid Al-Fitr prayer, marking the conclusion of Ramadan. In Makkah, Sheikh Dr. Saleh Bin Abdullah Bin Humaid led the faithful in prayer, while in Madinah, Imam Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Bin Ali Al-Hudhaifi delivered the sermon. Sheikh Humaid, in his sermon, lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its exceptional service to the millions visiting the holy sites annually, highlighting the nation's embodiment of peace, faith, and prosperity. He called upon Muslims to seize the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr to reinforce social bonds, promote peace, foster reconciliation, and practice forgiveness. Similarly, the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah was filled with worshipers immersed in a deeply spiritual environment. Sheikh Al-Hudhaifi discussed the significance of Eid Al-Fitr and the foundational principles of Islam, stressing the importance of piety and extending Eid greetings to the Muslim community worldwide. The Governor of the Madinah Region Prince Salman Bin Sultan, along with his deputy, Prince Saud Bin Khalid Bin Faisal Bin Abdulaziz, joined the worshipers for the Eid prayer, illustrating the collective celebration of this joyous occasion.
