Moderate to heavy rain and weather fluctuations to hit most Saudi regions until Saturday

JEDDAH — Moderate to heavy rain and fluctuations in weather conditions will be experienced in most regions of Saudi Arabia from Tuesday until Saturday, according to the latest forecast of the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
The NCM warned of moderate to heavy thunderstorms, accompanied by dust storms with a speed of more than 60 km/hour and leading to torrential rains and hail will hit the Makkah city, Taif, Jeddah, Allaith, Bahra, Al-Jumum, Al-Kamil, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Maysan and Khulais in the Makkah region from Tuesday evening until Thursday, and its intensity will increase on Wednesday and Thursday. Moderate rain will be witnessed in the governorates of Turbah, Al-Mawiyyah, Al-Khormah, Raniyah, and Qunfudah in the Makkah region from Wednesday until Friday.
Moderate to heavy rain will hit many governorates of the Madinah region from Tuesday evening until Thursday, and its intensity will increase on Wednesday and Thursday, and these include the Madinah city, Al-Mahd, Al-Hanakiyah, Khaybar, Al-Ula, and Wadi Al-Fara'a, Yanbu, Al-Eis, and Badr.
The Hail region will also be affected by moderate to heavy rain from Tuesday evening until Friday, and its intensity is expected to increase on Wednesday and Thursday in Hail, Al-Ghazala, Al-Shamli, Al-Jadhar, Al-Shannan, Baqaa, Samiraa, Al-Sulaymi, and Muwaqaq.
Moderate to heavy rain will be experienced in Buraydah, Unayzah, Al-Bukayriyah, Al-Asyah, Riyad Al-Khubara, Uqlat Al-Suqur, Al-Bada'i, Al-Rass, Al-Nabhaniyah, Dhariyat Al-Mithnab, Uyun Al-Jawa'a, and Al-Shamasiyah in the Qassim region from Tuesday evening until Saturday.
Moderate to heavy rain is also expected to hit the governorates of Umluj and Tayma in the Tabuk region on Wednesday and Thursday, While moderate rain will be received by the governorates of Tabuk, Haql, Al-Bidaa, Duba, and Al-Wajh in the Tabuk region on Wednesday and Thursday.
Some governorates and cities of the northern Al-Jouf region will also witness moderate to heavy rain. These include Sakaka, Dumat Al-Jandal, Qurayyat, and Tabarjal, in addition to the governorates of Turaif, Arar, Al-Uwaiqiliyah, and Rafha in the Northern Border Region from Wednesday until Friday. Moderate to heavy rain will also hit Hafar Al-Batin, Qaryatul Ula, Al-Khafji, and Nairyah in the Eastern Province from Thursday until Saturday, while the governorates of Jubail, Dammam, Abqaiq, and Al-Ahsa in the Eastern Province will be affected by light to moderate rain on Friday and Saturday.
According to the NCM forecast, moderate to heavy rain will be experienced in Afif, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Quwayiyah, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Shaqraa, and Al-Majmah in the Riyadh region from Tuesday until Saturday, while the rest of the region including the Riyadh city, Rumah, Thadiq, Marat, Al-Muzahmiyah, Al-Hariq, Al-Kharj, Hotat Bani Tamim will be witnessed by light to moderate rain on Friday and Saturday.
Al-Baha, Baljurashi, Al-Mandaq, Qilwah, Al-Makhwah, Bani Hassan, Al-Hajra, Ghamid Al-Zanad, and Al-Qura in the Al-Baha region will be affected by moderate rain from tomorrow until Thursday, while light to moderate rain be experienced by Abha, Khamis Mushait, Al-Namas, Tanomah, Balqarn, Rijal Almaa, Bariq, Mahayil, and Al Majardah in the southern Asir region on Tuesday and Wednesday, the NCM said in its report.
