Minister of Health, Fahd Al-Jalajel, continued his inspection tours of the health organization in Makkah and the holy sites, where he visited on Wednesday East Arafat Hospital, the Security Forces Hospital and the headquarters of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority. The minister began his tour by visiting the Security Forces Hospital in Makkah, where he was briefed on the progress of work in a number of hospital departments, including the emergency department, in addition to the blood donation campaign, implemented by the hospital, praising the great coordination between the health organization to serve the pilgrims. Al-Jalajel visited the headquarters of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Makkah. Al-Jalajel noted coordination between the Saudi Red Crescent and the Ministry of Health facilities, which aim to provide the best services to patients. He toured East Arafat Hospital, where the hospital was equipped with 236 beds, in addition to 33 isolation rooms, two operations rooms, a dialysis department, and an endoscopy department. The ministry has equipped the emergency department in East Arafat Hospital with isolation and resuscitation beds, while the hospital laboratory has been equipped with devices to perform all the necessary examinations. — SPA
