The Cabinet, chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman in person at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh after a series of virtual session on Tuesday, addressed the outcomes of the visit of South Korea President Moon Jae-in to Saudi Arabia. The Cabinet focused on the president's talks with Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, during which they reviewed the bilateral relations and ways of supporting and enhancing the relations, in addition to discussing latest regional and international developments and the exerted efforts towards them. The Cabinet also reviewed memorandums of understanding and agreements in various fields during the visit. At the outset of the session, the Cabinet was briefed on the content of the letter received by King Salman from South Sudan President Lt. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit and the content of the meetings and talks that took place between Saudi Arabia and a number of countries. The talks were held with the aim of supporting bonds of friendship as well as bilateral and multilateral cooperation, in a way that takes relations to new heights and enhances joint coordination towards international issues, thus contributing to the consolidation of security, stability, prosperity and development regionally and globally. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi said that the Cabinet followed the development of the events in various arenas. The Cabinet reiterated Saudi Arabia's rejection and condemnation of the attacks launched by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia on civilian objects and vital installations in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as well as international shipping lanes on the Red Sea with the aim of destabilizing the region's security and stability. The Cabinet stressed that the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), needs to take urgent action to put an end to this aggressive behavior in order to maintain international security and stability. The Cabinet also referred to the humanitarian role of Saudi Arabia, represented by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), to support the Yemeni people in various aspects, and through programs and projects that are implemented in partnership with international organization to develop vital sectors, increase the level of offered services and provide the needs and circumstances that support the development process. The Cabinet touched on the outcomes of the two Riyadh-hosted meetings of representatives of Friends of Sudan and the Quartet Group of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, which stressed the continuation of joint efforts to realize stability in Sudan and support the United Nations mission to help in the transitional phase in Sudan. The Cabinet approved draft agreements to transfer prisoners convicted penalties depriving of liberty, agreement for anti-crime cooperation, memorandum of understanding on illicit anti-human trafficking, drugs, psychotropic substances and precursor chemical between the government of Saudi Arabia and the government of Pakistan. The Council of Ministers okayed a guiding model for a cooperation agreement in the illicit anti-human trafficking, drugs, psychotropic substances and precursor chemical and smuggling them between the government of Saudi Arabia and the governments of other countries, and authorizing the Minister of Interior to hold talks with the governments of other countries regarding a draft cooperation agreement in the illicit anti-human trafficking, drugs, psychotropic substances and precursor chemical and smuggling them, signing it and refer the final signed copy to proceed with formal procedures. It authorized the Minister of Tourism to hold talks with the Jamaican side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding in the tourism field between the Ministry of Tourism in Saudi Arabia and the Tourism Ministry in Jamaica. It also approved a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Tourism in Saudi Arabia and the World Tourism Organization to develop the human capabilities through e-education. It authorized the chairman of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority to hold talks with the Malaysian side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia regarding the mutual accreditation of halal products certificates, signing it and referring the final signed copy to proceed with formal procedures. — SPA
