DOHA – Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, held talks with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani here Tuesday before his departure for Riyadh. They reviewed bilateral relations, ways of enhancing them in all fields, and the latest developments in the Gulf, Arab and international arenas. The Kingdom and Qatar Monday signed several agreements, memoranda of understanding and ratification documents following the fourth session of the Joint Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council. Crown Prince Salman and Qatar's Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani witnessed the signing of the agreements which included a pact to fight crime and another in the field of regulating border authorities. The two sides also signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the industrial field between the Ministry of Energy and Industry of Qatar and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Saudi Arabia, and an agreement on cooperation and news exchange between Qatar News Agency (QNA) and the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). They also signed the Convention on Diplomatic and Consular Cooperation, an agreement to cooperate in the fight against illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursor chemicals and smuggling, and a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the industrial field between the Ministry of Energy and Industry of Qatar and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Saudi Arabia. – SG/SPA
