NAB, Falcons, Evergreen 6ers and Star-XI in RCL finals

RIYADH — NAB, Falcons, Evergreen 6ers and Star-XI qualified for the finals of the Al-Houd T-20 Cup Cup Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL), here recently.
Nadeem Shah, Kamran, Khawar Malik and Yasir were instrumental in steering their teams to the finals.
NAB and Falcon beat their rivals in semifinals of the Super Division, while Evergreen 6ers and Star XI won their semifinals in the Premier Cup.
In the first semifinal of Super Division, NAB beat Al-Eid by 63 runs. Batting first, NAB set a huge target of 243-4. Kamran played an outstanding innings of 92, while Usman made 48, Basharat 53 and Abbas 26. Shehzad, Laldad and Mohsin took one wicket each.
In reply, Al-Eid could manage only 180 through Shehzad 18, Fahim Shah 36, Kashif 36 and Zia 19. Jameel Khan and Basharat took 2 wickets each, while Imran, Usman, Abbas, Sajid and Chand claimed one each. Kamran was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match.
In the second semis, Falcons defeated Mehran by 3 wickets. Batting first, Mehran made 202-8. Alam 45, Anwar 42, Majid 31, Usman Shah 30 and Asad Khan 20 were the main scorers. Nadeem Shah and Sirajuddin claimed 3 wickets each, while Waseem took 2.
In reply, Falcons won the match by 3 wickets in the last over. Sirajuddin played well to make 64, Nadeem Shah hit 57, Farhan Khairi 36 and Mansoor 16. Usman Shah took 3-33. Nadeem Shah won the Man-of-the-Match award.
In the Premier Cup, Evergreen 6ers demolished Indian Strikers by 102 runs in the first semis. Batting first, Evergreen 6ers set a tough target of 236. Mushtaq and Khawar Malik excelled with 83 and 82, respectively. Haroon scored 21, Aqeel 15 and Jamshaid 14. Areesh took 2-35 and Anees 1-31.
In reply, Indian Strikers crumbled to 134. Anees 42 and Yashik 35 and Areesh 29 were the main contributors. Khawar Malik was named the Man-of-the-Match.
In the second semis, Star-XI downed Cricket Samarwa by 38 runs. Batting first, Star-XI posted 195. Yasir and Aamir scored 42 each, while Waseem made 27. Hameed and Aasif Sheikh took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Cricket Samarwa fell short of 38. Waseem made 32, Ahsan 25 and Mujahid 26. Yasir and Amjad took 2 wickets each. Yasir was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match.
