Fine performances at Al-Houd T-20 Cup

RIYADH — NAB, Mehran, Evergreen 6ers, Maestro, Cricket Samarwa, Super Green and Gujranwala advanced in Al-Houd T-20 Cup Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL).
Usman Ashraf hit a century, while Alam Khan, Kamran Akram, Shakeel, Rashid Mirza , Hafiz Rizwan, Khawar Zafar, Imran Khan, Umar Bashir and Aasif Shaikh excelled with bat and ball.
NAB smashed Al-Eid by 9 wickets in the first match. Batting first, Al-Eid made 118 runs in 20 overs. Moon made, Fahim Shah 20 and Hashim 18. Usman, Basharath and Nazeer took 2 wickets each, while Imran and Jameel Khan got 1 wicket each. In reply, NAB achieved the target for the loss of 1 wicket in 9.5 overs. Imran Khan made 60 and Kamran Akram 55 not out. Imran Khan won the Man-of-the-Match award.
?In the second match, Mehran demolished Falcons by 8 wickets. Batting first, Falcons scored 193-7. Manzoor hit 57, Farrukh Saeed 35 and Nadeem Shah 26. Usman Shah, Asad Khan and Sher Khan claimed 2 wickets each. In reply, Mehran achieved the target for the loss of 2 wickets in 16.1 overs. Alam Khan and Usman Shah remained unbeaten on 88 and 51 not out, respectively. Majid Khan made 29. Majid and Sirajuddin took one wicket each. Alam Khan was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match.
Maestro defeated Kashmir Gymkhana by 6 wickets in the third match. Batting first, Kashmir Gymkhana tallied 208-4. Shafiq made 54 not out, Mudassir 34 and Fayaz 34. Umar Bashir, Abdullah Khan and Imran Shaikh took 1 wicket each. In reply, Maestro achieved the target for the loss of 4 wickets in the 20th over. Feroz Khan contributed 56, Umar Bashir 55 and Jamaluddin 37 runs not out. Mudassir grabbed 1 wicket. Umar Bashir won the Man-of-the-Match award.
In the fourth match, Evergreen 6ers routed Cyberoam by 200 runs. Batting first, Evergreen 6ers set a huge target of 251-7. Hafiz Rizwan made 67 runs, Khawar Zafar 62 and Haroon 25. Adil and Tariq claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, Cyberoam was crumbled to 51. Kamran made 15 and Atif 10. Khawar Zafar grabbed 4 wickets, while Mudasar got 3 and Hafiz 2. Khawar Zafar was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match.
Cricket Samarwa won by 45 runs against nasair in the fifth match. Batting first, Cricket Samarwa amassed 224-5 through Shakeel 83, Aasif Shaikh 52 and Qasim 27. In reply, nasair managed 179-9. Qasim took 4 wickets, Abubaker and Aamir 2 each, while Aasif Shaikh got one. Shakeel won the Man-of-the-Match award.
In the sixth match, Super Green won by 51 runs against Cricketers. Batting first, Super Green made 219-8. Rashid Mirza hit 78, Adnan Malik 39 and Adnan Nasir 31. Shafiq Ahmed claimed 3 wickets, while Salman Siraj and Asad got 2 each. In reply, Cricketers made 168-6. Sherjeel Khan top-scored with 62, Farhan Malik made 44 and Zaheer 28. Farrukh took 2 wickets. Rashid Mirza was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match.
In the last match, Gujranwala defeated Kashmir Gymkhana by 121 runs. Batting first, Star Gujrawala put on 278-1. Usman Ashraf blasted 162 with 29 boundaries. Afzal Karim made 36 and Dastageer 36. In reply, Kokan managed 157-6. Usman Ashraf won the Man-of-the-Match.
