He also indicated that Saudi Arabia has unique opportunities that cover many vital aspects such as the digital technology sectors and others, looking forward to strengthening and developing cooperation, exchanging experiences, and attracting British investments in light of the great facilities and reforms enjoyed by the business sector and efforts to stimulate the attraction of foreign investment.
For her part, Deputy Minister of Commerce, Dr. Iman Bint Habbas Bin Sultan Al-Mutairi, reviewed the exceptional achievements of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 over the past five years, noting that in the context of women's empowerment, new laws have been enacted that encourage women's effective participation in the new economic transformation at all levels.
Governor of the General Authority for Foreign Trade, Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, indicated that fruitful meetings were held on the sidelines of the Forum with the government and private sectors, with the participation of the President of the Financial Market in London, the Lord of the City of London, the Chairmen of the Arab British Chamber and the two Chairmen of the Saudi-British Joint Business Council on both sides, and the President of the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC) to discuss opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
He also added that the Saudi-British relations are historical, spanning more than 100 years, and based on mutual trust, adding that what has been reached is an opportunity to enhance communication between the government and private sectors and to discuss priority cooperation opportunities in various fields of sustainable development and translate them into tangible partnerships that meet the aspirations of the people and leadership of the two countries. — SPA
