In cooperation with the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, the International Trade and Investment System organized here today a panel discussion entitled "Reforms in Saudi Commercial Law and Sustainable Development Objectives for Empowering Small and Medium Enterprises and New Enterprises" at the United Nations. It held on the sidelines of the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, organized by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). The panel discussion which was chaired by the Saudi Assistant Minister of Commerce and Investment, who is also the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the National Competitiveness Center, Dr. Iman Bint Habas Al-Mutairi, reviewed the Kingdom's efforts to achieve the goals of sustainable development and the reforms implemented to improve the business environment in the Kingdom and the growth achieved in the sector of small and medium enterprises and the role assigned to it according to the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
