RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority (GEA) on Thursday announced the resumption of entertainment activities in the Kingdom, allowing only vaccinated individuals to enter entertainment venues. In a statement, GEA called on event organizers and visitors to measures to follow all coronavirus protocols approved by concerned authorities in the Kingdom when holding entertainment events and attending them. The visitors can show their vaccination status through the "Tawakkalna" in order to gain access to entertainment venues. The authority in its statement said that all entertainment venues will be allowed to operate at 40 percent capacity at entertainment events held in the open, with emphasis on precautionary measures such as social distancing, wearing face masks, and providing sterilizers at the site, provided that tickets are only sold online, adhering to precise entry hours, and the allocation of separate entry and exit gates.
