The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has announced the resumption of entertainment activities, in accordance with health procedures approved by the Public Health Authority (Weqaya), to prevent coronavirus (COVID-19), including the need for event organizers and visitors to apply precautionary measures when holding entertainment events. The measures which included four main areas: environment, prevention, and distancing, reporting and monitoring, awareness, and implementation, stipulated that entry to entertainment activities be exclusive to immune individuals, and as indicated in the "Tawakkalna" application, in compliance with the Ministry of Interior decision issued on May 18, 2021. The measure also set a rate of 40 percent for attendance at entertainment events held in the open, with emphasis on precautionary measures such as social distancing, wearing masks, and providing sterilizers at the site, provided that tickets are only sold online, adhering to precise entry hours, and the allocation of separate entry and exit gates.
