Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah has completed its preparations, in accordance with health controls and requirements and an updated guide for health procedures by the General Authority of Civil Aviation, for allowing citizens to travel outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and return to it, starting today. Taibah Airport Operation Company has worked, under the supervision of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, to define designated gates for the entry and exit of passengers to and from the airport lounges. Moreover, the company allocated a team to follow up on the implementation of precautionary measures and to prevent the entry of non-travelers to the terminals, with the exception of the companions of travelers with disabilities, and to ensure that travelers wear masks, and hand sanitizers are provided at all entrances and exits. Furthermore, the airport has set screening points at the terminals to ensure the health status of travelers and workers through the Tawakkalna application. No passenger or employee will be able to enter the terminals except after confirming his health condition. Entry will not be allowed for those who do not comply with the precautionary measures, in addition to providing all airport entrances with optical screening points and thermal cameras to ensure the safety of travelers before starting the departure procedures. In the event that a passenger's temperature is noticed, the adopted procedures are applied and the traveler will be transferred to the airport health center.
