The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched Tuesday in Amman, Jordan, a project to distribute 16,550 Ramadan food baskets for needy families in Palestine, benefiting 82,750 individuals. The distribution comes to alleviate economic burdens and repercussion of COVID-19 pandemic. It also falls within a project to distribute food baskets in Palestine during the holy month of Ramadan. Saudi Arabia gifts 100 tons of dates to Niger In Niamey, KSrelief delivered Tuesday the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's gift to the Republic of the Niger, which included 100 tons of dates. The gift comes within relief and humanitarian programs, being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for a number of countries, to reach the most needy families in different regions of the world. Ramadan food baskets delivered in Somaliland In Hargeisa, KSrelief launched Tuesday a project to distribute 927 tons of Ramadan food baskets in Somaliland, benefiting 61,860 individuals. This project aims to alleviate the suffering of people in Somaliland due to the drought that struck the country during the past months and repercussion of COVID-19 pandemic. This falls within Ramadan projects being provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, represented by KSrelief, for the most needy families worldwide. 1,000 Ramadan food baskets given in Sudan's Red Sea State In Red Sea State, KSrelief has distributed 1,000 Ramadan food baskets to the most needy families in Red Sea State, Sudan, benefiting 6,000 individuals. This comes within the framework of aid being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for Sudanese people during the year's holy month of Ramadan. KSrelief delivers 100 tons of dates to Pakistan In Islamabad, KSrelief delivered Tuesday the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's gift to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which included 100 tons of dates. On behalf of the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Director General of Pakistani Cabinet Division Brig. Tahir Rashid thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this annual gift, which reflects the strong and deep-rooted relations between the two countries. He praised the pioneering role that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia plays at the Islamic, regional and global levels. This gift comes within aid being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for various countries and peoples. KSrelief opens artificial limbs center in Aden In Aden, KSRelief inaugurated on Monday the Artificial Limbs Center in Aden Governorate, Yemen. Yemen's Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qassim Mohammed Buhaibeh has valued KSrelief's efforts and stances towards the Yemeni people. He also commended the Artificial Limbs Center's great achievements, which will contribute to providing medical services and alleviating the suffering of the injured and mines victims in Yemen. For his part, Director of KSrelief Office in Aden Saleh Al-Dibani said that the Center has worked to equip the Artificial Limbs Center by meetings the needs of approximately 1,434 beneficiaries and provide 300 new artificial limbs, in addition to artificial limbs maintenance and providing physiotherapy services. — SPA
