KSrelief distributes 100 tons of dates to needy in Somaliland

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded here Monday its project to distribute 100 tons of dates to needy, benefiting 100,000 people, in cooperation with the National Authority for Drought Control and Food Security in Somaliland.
President of the National Authority for Combating Drought and Food Security in Somaliland Faisal Sheikh thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's government, represented by the KSrelief, for the permanent support and follow-up of the humanitarian situation there, and providing urgent relief to the needy.
The KSrelief on Sunday had launched here a project to distribute 4,696 food baskets weighing 492 tons to the affected displaced people in Somaliland, benefiting 28,176 individuals.
Head of the National Displacement and Refugee Agency in Somaliland Abdulkarim Mohammed expressed his thanks to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its constant support for the people of Somaliland.
He expressed his appreciation of the KSrelief 's efforts in Africa and its initiatives to provide urgent relief to the displaced and affected people. This aid comes as part of the KSrelief 's humanitarian projects for the people of Somaliland.
Advanced equipment to Makkah
Eye Hospital in Aden delivered
In Aden, KSrelief delivered advanced medical equipment to the Makkah Eye Hospital in Aden.
Yemen's Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qassem Mohammed Buhaibeh, affirmed the importance of equipment and devices provided by KSrelief in enhancing the role of health sector services.
He expresed his thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's government for its support to the various Yemeni health sector institutions.
This comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the health sector in Yemen, which amounted to 263 projects, with a total value of approximately $734 million.
Food baskets in Al Bayda

In Al Bayda, KSrelief launched a project to distribute food baskets in Al Bayda Governorate, Yemen, benefiting more than 2,400 individuals.
This campaign comes within the framework of support being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the Center, amounted to 575 projects in many areas that included all Yemeni governorates.
6th shipment of medical aid
sent to Palestine Ministry
In Amman, KSrelief has delivered, to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the sixth shipment of Saudi aid, which includes medical devices and supplies, to limit the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The shipment was dispatched in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.
The Palestinian Minister of Health Dr. Mai Al-Kailah praised the Saudi support for the Palestinian Ministry, extending her thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman and KSrelief for their efforts in providing aid to the Palestinian people.
The shipment comes within the framework of humanitarian aid being provided by Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to stand with countries and peoples in crises. — SPA
