RIYADH — Cricket Samarwa, Indian Strikers, Karachi Titans, Kokan CC and Black Caps recorded victories in the Al-Houd Trading T20 Cricket Tournament 2012-13, which is organized by the Riyadh Cricket League (RCL) here.
Bilal and Sunil Kulai scored centuries, while Shaeel and Mansoor also excelled with the bat.
Indian Strikers defeated Mughal CC by 33 runs. Batting first, Indian Strikers scored 216-6. Sunil Kulai played an outstanding innings of 110 runs. He hit 9 boundaries and 3 sixes. Junais made 51 and Yashik 23. Imran bowled very well and took 5 wickets, while Zubair and Zahid got 2 wickets each.
In reply, Mughal could not reach the target as it managed 183-9. Imran made 46, Zahid 29 and Javaid 20. Anees, Sunil Kulai and Ashraf took 2 wickets each. Sunil Kulai was declared the Man-of-the-Match.
Cricket Samarwa downed Cricketers by 20 runs.
Batting first, Cricket Samarwa made 192-5, mainly through Shakeel 40, Kashif 28, Abubaker 27 and Ahsan 29.
In reply, Cricketers tallied 171-6 and lost the match by 21 runs. Sharjeel scored 53 and Faizan 38. Hameed took 2 wickets, while Qasim, Aasif, Amir and Naeem claimed one each. Shakeel was named the Man-of-the-Match.
Karachi Titans won by 9 wickets against Gujranwala. Batting first, Gujranwala made 176-5. Usman top-scored with 51. Waqar made 40 and Dastagir 28. Amjad, Afaq, Rizwan, Moeen and Saleem got one wicket each.
In reply, Karachi Titans achieved the target for the loss of one wicket in 16.3 Overs. Bilal remained unbeaten on 111. His magnificent knock included 13 boundaries. Rizwan made 40 and Rauf 17 not out. Kamran took one wicket.
Bilal was selected as the Man-of-the-Match.
Kokan CC won by just one run over Maestro CC. Batting first, Kokan CC made 166-4. P. Mansoor hit 67 and Mansoor Naz 54 not out. Ashfaque took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Maestro came very close to 165-7. Sunil remained unbeaten on 57. Feroz Khan made 19 and Kalandar Hamad 17. Fahim claimed 2 wickets. while Danish and Imran got one each. Mansoor Naz was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match. Black Caps defeated Super Green by 9 wickets. Batting first, Super Green made 163-6 through Khawar 50, Adnan Malik 25 and Babar Mirza 24. Suboj took 3 wickets and Moqeem 2, while Bilal, Malik and Zeeshan claimed one each.
In reply, Black Caps achieved the target for the loss of one wicket in 14.4 overs.
Bilal played very well and made 79 runs. Sanaullah contributed 45 and Danish 21 not out. Waleed took one wicket. Bilal was named the Man-of-the-Match.
