Raavi and Royce secure semifinal slots

RIYADH — Raavi Cricket Club and Royce White Star secured their slots in the final four of Alkharaj league of the ongoing Western Union T20 tournament. Both teams are leading the points table in their respective groups with six points each. This event is being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and is sponsored by Western Union Money Transfer.
Alkharaj League: AR Sports Green defeated Gamepro by 3 wickets. Batting first, Gamepro posted 216 for 7. Prashant smashed 64 and Azim hit 30. Waheed claimed 3 and Riaz got 2 wickets. In reply, AR Green chased the target in 18.3 overs thanks to brilliant batting by Hasnain 52, Ahmad 49 and Adnan 33. Mustafa bagged 3 wickets for Gamepro.
In low scoring thriller, KFSH Blues triumphed over Royce White Star by 2 wickets. Royce got all out for below par total of 146. Mudassar topscored with 48 and Fahad made 30. Imtiaz grabbed 3 while Adnan and Abdul Malik picked up 2 wickets each. Chasing an easy target, KFSH stuttered but calm Imtiaz took them to victory in 19th over with an unbeaten 31. Nasir Abbasi scored 28. Amjad and Rashid clinched 3 wickets each.
Raavi cruised to victory over L'usine by 31 runs. Raavi added 256 for 4 wickets. Zia Khan whacked 94 and Abu Baker notched 73 while Adnan cracked 45. Shahyar snared 2 wickets. L'usine managed 225 runs in reply. Syed Salaudin topscored with 81. Abbas Kiyni registered his 3rd consecutive fifty scoring 64 while Roshan hit 36. Shafiq took 2 wickets.
Fonte Star lost to Pakistan Falcons by 8 wickets. Fonte collected 221 for 8 wickets. Adeel smashed 62 and Bilal scored 37. Asim took 3 and Waseem picked 2 wickets. Falcons, in reply, got to the target in 16.5 overs losing only two wickets. Asim smashed a match-winning 107 and was assisted by Tauqeer, who added 63.
Huraymala League: Nizamabad United thrashed Kashmir Strikers by 34 runs. After losing Sami for 4, Mujahid and Mubin batted flawlessly and amassed 262 for Nizamabad without any further loss. Mujahid banged 152 off just 60 balls and Mubeen hammered 102 off 51 balls. Chasing a massive total Kashmir's Sameer played a fighting knock of 85 while captain Ishfaq banged 46 but team got all out for 228 in 18.3 overs. Noman took 3 while Adnan and Mujahid picked up 2 wickets each.
AR Sports Blues thumped KFSH Green by 60 runs. AR Blues accumulated 218 for the loss of 8 wickets. Ahsan slogged 80, Hamza bashed 58 while Asim mustered 34. Suhail was the pick of the bowlers who claimed 4 wickets haul. Mansour bagged 2 wickets. KFSH was restricted 158 runs in reply. Nayeem 39, Nasir 34 and Suhail 32 played well. Aamir, Asif and Abubaker grabbed 2 wickets each.
