The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) is organizing several theatrical performances and comedy shows as part of its participation in the Jeddah Season, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday. The comedy events will start in "Obhor" with the "Three Days on the Coast" play starring Egyptian comedian Muhammad Henedi from June 26 to 29, while the play "It's All Wrong" starring Egyptian comedian actor Ashraf Abdel Baqi will be presented during the period July 10–13. The comedy activities will continue from June 10 to July 18 at Al-Shallal Theme Park with the Saudi Comedy Club touring through an Artology exhibition featuring a group of local, Arab and international comedians, presenting a range of performances including a stand-up challenge, the "Saudi Cinderella" show, international stand-up comedy shows, and comedy musical nights, in addition to performances by comedians Talal Al-Sheiki, Muhammad Sultan, Abdulrahman Al-Somali, and Abdulkhaleq Bin Rafea. Furthermore, comedy lovers will be delighted by the comedy show organized by XJed at the Jeddah Waterfront and presented by the "Laugh Factory" known as the No. 1 comedy club in America from 23 June 23 to July 18. Through those events, GEA reaffirms its constant endeavor to meet the expectations with various tastes and preferences, provide an exceptional experience for visitors of the Jeddah Season, and to enhance the Kingdom's position within the entertainment sector. — SPA
