Centrepoint, Middle East's leading fashion retailer, has launched its newest store in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, located within the Al Ahsa Mall in Dammam. The move marks the opening of 145th store in the region, and 87th store in Saudi Arabia. Designed to enhance the overall in-store shopping experience, the new store features customer-friendly layouts spanning 29,536 square feet. Commenting on the launch of the new store in Dammam, Simon Smith, chief operating officer, Centrepoint, stated, "We have a loyal customer base here in Saudi Arabia, and their continued support has played a huge role in the growth of the brand in this region. Our focus has always been to offer them the best quality fashion, footwear, kidswear, lifestyle and beauty offerings at competitive prices. We're confident that our new store in Al Ahsa Mall will continue to cater to the needs of all our customers and deliver an unparalleled shopping experience." As a part of its regional expansion plans, 15 new stores will be added across locations in GCC by June 2020. This is expected to increase the retail space to 6.7million sq ft, reinstating Centrepoint as one of the largest fashion destinations in the region. One of the fastest growing retailers within the Landmark Arabia brand portfolio, Centrepoint, is also leveraging digital spaces to complement physical stores. The brand is working towards revamping their outlets to ‘Stores of the Future', by combining features of both online and in-store shopping to offer a truly integrated shopping experience. Centrepoint has evolved to be a popular fashion destination for families in the region, dedicated to offering its customers a shopping experience that is convenient and brings them the value they are looking for. The retailer houses four of the Group's most loved concepts — Babyshop, Splash, Lifestyle and Shoemart, and has enjoyed significant success in Saudi Arabia over the years. First launched in Kuwait in 2005, Centrepoint currently has stores across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon. — SG
