JEDDAH — The fifth Edition of Tellicherry Cricket Forum (TCF) T10 Cricket Tournament, sponsored by FSN and co-sponsored by Al-Jouf Tours & Travels, will kick off at Baghdadiyah Stadium here Thursday. The tournament will be inaugurated by Dr. Adambawa Uthumalebbe, Consul General of Sri Lanka, at 8.30 p.m. in the presence of all the participating teams, sponsors and invited guests. TCF President Anwar Sadath thanked the sponsors and well-wishers for their support. He said: “We assure all cricket lovers that it is going to be a real fun time with exciting matches and be a totally different ‘Weekend Experience' for everyone who likes cricket. It is going to be fast and furious.” The tournament will be played on weekends (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) with the final set for March 29. Four matches will be played on the first day, while five matches have been scheduled for day two. The first match will see last year's runner-up Nokia Tuskers take on Strike at 4.30 p.m. The second match will pitch Techyorker against ATS, while the third match will see last year's winner ABT Cargo play Al-Abeer KKR. The final match of the first day will be played between Al-Jazeera Ford and Sri Lankan Malay Cricket Club. Apart from the winner's and runner-up's trophies, players will also be given awards for their individual performances.
