JUBAIL — The Royal Commission of Jubail will host the coronation camp of the fifth stage of the National Scout project to clean and protect the environment. The event will begin Wednesday and run until Saturday. Minister of Education and Chairman of the Scout Association of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah is expected to inaugurate the event. The association's deputy chief, Dr. Abdullah Al-Fahad, said: “The project aims to develop the community's responsibility to protect the environment through practice, to activate the World Scout project ‘Messengers of Peace,' which is adopted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and to enhance the value of hygiene and associated principles, and community outreach programs in the preservation of environment.” Al-Fahad said, “This year's project, under the theme ‘Cleanliness, protection of environment and development of society,' targets all regions and provinces of the Kingdom”. The director general of the General Services of Royal Commission in Jubail Abdul Aziz Al-Missned said, “The organizing committee met at Jubail Industrial City and has prepared more than 80 locations for the event.” These include the headquarters of the delegations, housing for students, halls for VIPs, restaurants, places of prayer, dining rooms, a theater of events, toilets, an integrated media center, a sports field, headquarters of the participating government agencies, a medical clinic, a tent for security and safety, a integrated tent for Internet and secretarial support, as well as an exhibition of the events. Al-Missned said, “We have distributed the Scout teams to four large camps and each camp carries the name of a neighborhood in Jubail Industrial City.”
