The National Scout Project for environment cleaning and protection in Jeddah is to take place between Wednesday and Friday. The Makkah Technical Council (MTC) will participate in the project along with the Directorate General of Education in Jeddah Governorate. According to MTC President Dr. Rasid Bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani, the council is keen to participate in the program titled “Cleanliness is a requirement of belief, protection to the human being and development for the community”. The council has approved the participation of 100 trainees to work in this project. The council's supervisor Waleed Bin Khalid Filemban advised that the project provides a mission that hygiene should be a practice, target the values ??of national belonging and responsibility, positive initiative, cooperation, and protection of others to achieve the overall objective which is to develop the responsibility of the community and the protection of the environment during the practice. He said the program aims to enhance the value of hygiene, diet and clean environment. It also highlights the role of scouts with respect to environment conservation and development. Filemban says the program will deal with cleaning and removal of waste, paints, and treatment of visual distortion, as well as maintenance work. Work will commence on Wednesday and will be carried out from 9-12 in the morning and from 5-9 in the evening. Internal camps will be prepared and then work will begin on cleaning the outlet of Jeddah to Makkah. The campaign continues on Thursday morning with the cleaning of Khaleej Salman in the morning, and the historic district in the evening. Finally on Friday the project will focus on cleaning the exit of Jeddah to Madina (Al-Rehaily) and the public parks. __
