MUMBAI – After making a successful comeback on the big screen last year with “English Vinglish,” Sridevi will now be seen in a sequel to her 1987 blockbuster “Mr. India.” “Of course, I will be part of Mr. India 2. But right now it is too early to talk about it. I don't know what my role is going to be in the sequel,” said Sridevi. Post the success of English Vinglish, which was directed by first time director Gauri Shinde, Sridevi said she was overwhelmed to see women relate to the film. “English Vinglish was the right kind of film and I had a great character. It was one film which every woman could identify with, be it wife or sister,” said Sridevi who vowed the audience with her performance. –– SG
