Zee Aflam to premiere ‘English Vinglish'

JEDDAH – Zee Aflam, the first Pan-Arab 24-hour free-to-air Bollywood film channel dedicated to Arabic audiences, will mark the Middle East North Africa (MENA) television premiere of the critically acclaimed Hindi film “English Vinglish” on Jan. 19 at 10:00 PM local time.
Starring the award-winning actress Sridevi, marking her comeback to Bollywood after 14 years and to Tamil cinema after 26 years, the film also features French actor Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussain, and Priya Anand, with guest appearances from Amitabh Bachchan and Ajith Kumar.
The film received a standing ovation upon its premiere at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, hailing the title as the ‘must-watch' film of the year. – SG
