A truck smashed the Sabuhah graveyard's fence on Al-Sail Road a month ago, allowing stray dogs to unearth the graves. Residents said they were heartbroken when they witnessed the dogs unearthing the graves of their loved ones. They criticized the municipality for its failure to repair the fence. The say Islam honors the dead and the municipality should respect that. Trees have also grown too big in the graveyard and should be attended to, they said. A source at the Makkah municipality promised to address the problem. He said a team will visit the graveyard and order the fence repaired. Trees will be removed and the graveyard will receive a complete maintenance, the source added.
